This is a blog about the small things. Not frameworks, not paradigms, not the next big thing. Just the pieces — a shell one-liner that saves a minute every day, the git flag you always look up, the kind of detail you either know or spend half an afternoon rediscovering.
Posts tend to be short. Subjects tend to be narrow. The goal is something worth reading in under five minutes — concrete, something you can actually use. If it saves a lookup, a Stack Overflow spiral, three rounds of rephrasing the same question to ChatGPT, or an hour of frustration, that's enough.
Software engineering has plenty of complexity. Most of it is necessary. Some of it is just unfamiliarity with the right tool at the right moment. That's the gap this tries to fill.
